About Lanzarote Business and Residents Association

"Lanzarote Business Association is a multi-lingual, nonprofit, general interest group that combines the strength of both business and residents in Lanzarote to provide support for the future development of our island.

There are many of us who may not speak the language well enough, or have the right information to fully understand our legal position in not only business and financial matters, but any aspect of living in Lanzarote. Whether you are resident in Lanzarote, or you want to move to Lanzarote in the near future, here you will find all necessary information and support to both everyday life and your business.

Our common goals are the improvement of tourism to Lanzarote and future investment in Lanzarote. This is done through the proactive involvement of the Association in public life of the island by meeting with local administrative entities, other associations and individual businesses. The association members can also provide, based on their experience, support for anyone moving to the island or still looking for specific answers to particular aspects of life in Lanzarote in order to ensure the greatest possible integration between different cultures today living on the island.

The members of this organization feel part of Lanzarote, and seek active participation in local life. We take into account that our members and affiliates are people of all ages: families with children, businessman, workers, investors, managers, freelancers, both active and retired. And many more people are moving to Lanzarote every year to enjoy their home and life on the island.

The contribution of all these residents to the social and economic richness of Lanzarote is undeniable in many ways: the arrival of new ideas, innovative projects, investment in Lanzarote and the people here. This situation has advantages as well as challenges, as for integration, coexistence, education and social relations in general.

LBA believes that only through hard work and dedication in all sectors, the situation we are facing will become an opportunity for a real improvement of the local economy.
We have a very important force that is not fully used to all of its power: the 10,000 Europeans living on the island (and those moving to live here) on average receive every year about 50 visitors, including relatives and friends or in connection with their business.

Foreign residents in Lanzarote are those who have a unique chance because of their personal contacts in countries of origin, to really make an important difference to the economy of the island that benefits it.

You don't have to own a business to join the Lanzarote Business Association, we welcome anyone with a link to Lanzarote, from tourists to people not yet resident but just planning to move to here. If you think that our activity could be helpful for your business or just think that we are doing a great job for the future development of Lanzarote, think about joining the membership program of our association.
